Reiki
When life force energy is balanced and flowing freely, we experience vitality, peace, and interconnectedness. Disruptions or blockages in this life force can lead to illness, emotional distress, or an imbalance within ourselves. The practice of Reiki offers a holistic approach to healing. During a Reiki session, the practitioner channels the Reiki energy they've been attuned to, through gentle touch or by holding their hands near the recipient's body. By promoting relaxation and illumination, Reiki practitioners seek to enhance the body’s self-healing processes, encouraging a sense of comfort and tranquility.

Creating a sacred space
Before your arrival, I will prepare and create a sacred space using crystals, sage smudging techniques, meditation, and setting intentions. This practice purifies the environment by removing negative energy and promoting a sense of calm and clarity. Sacred spaces feel lighter, more peaceful, and are conducive to relaxation and meditation

Discussing intentions
Before you hop up on the table for your Reiki session, we will take a few minutes to discuss your intention. Before a Reiki session, setting intentions can feel like a sacred moment of connection between you and the energy around you. It’s a chance to pause and inwardly reflect on what you truly need at that moment—perhaps healing from a past hurt, clarity in a current situation, or simply a sense of peace and relaxation. As you articulate your intentions, you're inviting the energy to support your journey, creating a personal and intimate space for healing.

Pendulum
A pendulum to assess the chakras can be used but is not necessary for a successful Reiki treatment. Some clients like to see the before and after with the pendulum. Before the session a pendulum is held over each chakra point. We observe the pendulum's movement—whether it swings in circles, back and forth, or remains still—reflecting the energy flow and balance of each chakra. A clear, circular motion is interpreted as healthy energy, while erratic or stagnant movements might indicate blockages or imbalances. This practice combines elements of energy work and intuition, often used in holistic healing and spiritual diagnostics.

The Reiki Treatment
You'll be lying down comfortably, fully clothed, with a pillow and blanket. I will use a hands-on and/or hands-off approach, lightly placing my hands on or near your body while channeling healing energy. The session aims to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and facilitate emotional and physical healing. Some people feel different sensations like warmth, cold or tingling and may see vivid colors and images in their mind's eye. Some people feel nothing and if you don't, that's ok too. It's not an indication that Reiki isn't working or that it isn't flowing. Throughout the treatment, I will remain focused and centered, guiding energy to areas that may require additional attention. The session concludes with a short briefing about the experiences shared and any insights gained.

Grounding
Most people feel a deep relaxation after a Reiki session. Some feel a pleasant floating sensation and some people feel nothing at all. For those who feel they need grounding, before leaving, a ground mat is offered complimentary for 10 minutes to help stabilize your body and mind
